Room to breathe

When your mind won't switch off

Stress doesn't stay in your head. It can show up as tight shoulders, a racing heart, poor sleep or an upset stomach. Acupuncture treats those signals together, rather than one at a time.

Sessions promote deep relaxation, and many clients tell us they notice a calmer mood afterward. Some come for a specific stretch of life, like a hard year at work or a family change. Others come regularly to stay steady.

If you're nervous about needles, you're in good company. Many of our clients were too. Brianna Del Vecchio is known for creating a safe space, and she'll explain each step so nothing comes as a surprise.

How it can help

What clients come in for

Stress and anxiety look different for everyone, so your treatment is planned around how they show up for you.
  • Feeling on edge

A quiet session gives your body a chance to slow down and your breathing to settle.

  • Trouble sleeping

Many clients report better sleep after their sessions, which makes everything else easier.

  • Tension you can feel

Clenched jaws and tight shoulders can ease as your whole body relaxes.

  • Time for yourself

Protected time with no phone, no list and nobody needing anything from you.

Your first visit

A gentle start

  1. Tell us what's going on

Your 60-minute initial visit starts with a conversation. Share as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

  2. Settle in

You'll lie down in a calm, private room. Brianna explains what she's doing and checks that you're comfortable.

  3. Rest

After the fine, single-use needles are placed, you simply rest. Many people find they drift off.

  4. Find your rhythm

45-minute follow-ups keep the progress going. We'll work out how often makes sense for you.

Acupuncture doesn't replace mental health care, and please don't change any medication without talking to your doctor. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 any time.

Client review

From nervous to at ease

“Brianna has changed my life.”

Brianna has changed my life. I'd never gotten acupuncture with anyone before her because I was always too nervous. Both her and the environment she has created make you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in. You can tell that she truly cares about your well being and how passionate she is about making you feel like your best self. Her services have relieved my chronic body pain and anxiety more than anything else I've tried over many years, in just a few sessions. I look forward to the next time I'll be back before I even leave, every time.

FAQs

Common questions

  • Can acupuncture help with stress and anxiety?

Acupuncture can promote relaxation and help manage stress and anxiety. Many clients tell us they notice a calmer mood after their sessions.

  • I'm anxious about needles. Can I still try acupuncture?

Yes, and many of our clients started out the same way. The needles are very fine, most people feel only a mild tingle or slight pinch, and Brianna will go at your pace.

  • Can I keep seeing my therapist or taking my medication?

Yes. Acupuncture can generally complement your other care, and you shouldn't stop any treatment or medication without talking to your provider. Please share your full history with us at your first visit.

  • How often should I come in?

That depends on how you're feeling and what you want from treatment. We'll set expectations together after your first session.

  • Can massage help with stress too?

Yes. Many clients book massage for relaxation, either on its own or between acupuncture visits. Ask us which might suit you best.
